Amongst my friends and loved ones, I’m often known for being the one to look around and say “well, this is pretty neat.” Sometimes pointing and shouting, no matter how gleefully, can ruin the moment, but I believe that it is very important that people take the time to recognize when they’re happy. “That’s Alright! That’s Okay!” is a song that I wrote combing through a collection of moments in recent memory when I’ve been present enough to look something or somebody special in the eye and say “thank you. You mean something to me, and I am glad to be near you.”
